The United Nude brand was created in 2003 by the famous architect Rem Koolhaas and hereditary Somerset shoemaker Galahard Clark, whose family owns the famous English shoe brand Clarks. More than 15 lines of designer shoes are produced under the United Nude brand, including special limited editions. United Nude shoes are sold in more than 40 countries. The bright conceptual women's shoe collection consists of sandals made of leather, rubber and textiles. One model combines two or three contrasting colors; some models have metallic and iridescent colors. The Super Forest Neon+Forest Green sandal model combines traditional shape and innovative materials; the upper and heel, made of translucent rubber, have a futuristic look. Shoe models of a more familiar look are made of leather in contrasting colors. For example, the dainty low-heeled pumps are bright red with blue trim. Flat shoes have a sister pair with heels. For example, the collection features red leather mules with blue leather trim and both flat soles and chunky heels. Neon translucent or glossy ballet shoes of different colors, slippers with comfortable molded soles and pumps seem to be laid out on top with large cut stones. In the United Nude collection, most models have unusual heels in the shape of irregular shapes or curved surfaces. Despite the unusual design, the heels of United Nude shoes are stable and the last is comfortable. The men's collection features a more subdued design, but also features chameleon-colored leather brogues, shoes with rubber details and faceted surfaces.
