Darkwood is a Turkish brand owned by Akasya Limited. Its owner, Ali Subasi, is known for having served as CEO of Adidas Turkey for several years. The Darkwood brand produces men's and women's boots made of genuine leather. The Darkwood brand was created in 2004 and is today one of the strongest shoe brands in Turkey. More than 1 million pairs of Darkwood boots are sold annually around the world. In Turkey, the products of this brand are presented in 480 stores. For the production of Darkwood, only the best leather produced in Turkey is used, as well as chemical dyes from Germany. Darkwood products are highly reliable. The main products of this brand are men's and women's casual city shoes made of leather and nubuck. Shoe models designed for the cold season are water-repellent. Demi-season models are insulated with fleece; in winter boots, the lining and insole are made of natural fur. The Darkwood brand also produces sneakers, women's boots and trekking boots, which are characterized by increased durability.
