SNOOPY

Snoopy is a well-known brand, the copyright of which is owned by Peanuts Worldwide LLC by Schulz, and the official representative of the Euro Shoes Premiere Collection is Shoesy SRL, an importer from Italy. It should be noted that Snoopy is a cartoon character, a beagle puppy, the hero of the Peanuts comics, published in 1950 from the pen of Charles Schulz. His name translates as “curious” and he became famous, first of all, in this “comic” quality. And only later it migrated in the form of funny prints to a myriad of items, from home accessories to shoes and clothing. Most often, perhaps, it can be found on hoodies, pajamas, underwear or sneakers. Just like the cat Hallo Kitty, the angry bird Angry Birds or - once - Felix the cat. A variety of manufacturers produce products with the image of Snoopy, purchasing the license from the copyright holders. In the footwear sector, this is most often Vans, known for children's sneakers and Snoopy slip-ons. As a rule, these are inexpensive products designed for active daily wear that will arouse interest among children 10–12 years old. However, at the maximum, comics are “sold” to both 6-year-olds and people of quite adult age. But it is shoes with Snoopy that are usually addressed to a child audience - children aged 6 - 16 years. In such cases, the emphasis is on character recognition, a bright print depicting a character or a scene from a comic book, sometimes a witty phrase or other “funny” accompaniment. The upper of the shoe is textile; the sole is flexible.
